Founded in 1964 the Golfclub Hamburg-Ahrensburg is one of the best known and most traditional golfclubs in the Hamburg region. Located slightly north of Hamburg it is just a short 25 km from the very center of Hamburg. The golf course boasts an impressive parkland atmosphere within the wonderful landscape of Schleswig Holstein.
The golf course can be reached comfortably by car via the A1 highway and from the town of Ahrensburg. The clubhouse accommodates the club restaurant along with a spacious lounge, bar and terrace, from where you have a fantastic view of the parkland course of Golfclub Hamburg-Ahrensburg.
Recreational golfers as well as top players will find an ambitious but always playable challenge at the golf course next to Bredenbeker Lake. Alongside the sport you will enjoy the beautiful nature and wonderful views during your time on the course.
The driving range and putting green are located right next to the club house. An additional area with three pitching and chipping greens combined with various practice bunkers is well placed on the course, just a couple of minutes to walk from the parking lot and clubhouse. Golfclub Hamburg-Ahrensburg is home to the Hamburger Golfakademie where you may book a training session with any of our three excellent golf pros who are equipped with excellent teaching facilities and professional technology such as Trackman.

Green fees and user fees
Guests are very welcome to play this wonderful golf course. Playing guests need to carry a valid membership of a DGV golf club or an acknowledged international golf club. Please ring in advance to arrange a tee time. You may play at all times Monday to Friday and on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10:00 am onwards guests are welcome to play when accompanying a member of Golfclub Hamburg-Ahrensburg e.V.

Pupils and students up to the age of 25 receive a 50% discount on green fees when showing a proper and valid I.D. or document. Range fee is always standard.
Guests need to prove their membership of an acknowledged german or international golf club as well as a handicap of -36 or better shown on a valid golf club I.D.

Welcome to our golf club restaurant
We will be pleased to serve you refreshments in a cosy atmosphere of our bar or on our sunny summer terrace with fantastic views of the golf course. You will find a well balanced mix of seasonal delights, specials of the day and our regular favorites. In any cases of individual preferences please let us know at all times.
Throughout the year you will find special offers and events like Valentines Day menues, Easter buffet, Mothers Day meal or the regular Sunday brunch.
Our club restaurant can accomodate your private event. Alternatively the restaurant team can cater at events in your own home.

Golfclub Hamburg-Ahrensburg e.V. golf course re-opend in May 2018 after a long and extensive redesigning and restructuring of the golf course, including all greens, bunkers and water features. A number of holes have been completely re-created, based on plans by Städtler Golf Courses, so now our traditional and more than 55 year old golf club can also be called “Hamburgs most recent golf course”.

All four tee off colors (yellow, red, orange, green) are rated for ladies and gentlemen. The standard tee-off yellow and red are almost the same as prior to the course redesign. The new handicap strokes lists can be found below as well as on the notice board at the entrance to our clubhouse.
